Direct to Consumer (D2C) Marketing Manager

Honeywell is seeking an entrepreneurial, experienced and curious Direct to Consumer Marketing Manager. This role will be responsible for developing the Honeywell residential direct to consumer channel. You will work with existing customer marketing managers, sales, customer care, IT and product marketing to develop the strategy and execute the implementation of direct to consumer sales. In this role you will be responsible for maximizing Honeywell profitability across all sales channels and using direct to consumer as a strategic advantage. The majority of your job is focused on innovative new product development!

As the owner and leader of D2C platform, your focus will be on defining and implementing the platform, through ongoing management and growth of the platform once in the market. You will need to work with and coordinate a wide variety of teams including Design, IT, Customer Support, Sales and Marketing.

Your role is to inspire these teams, keep them focused on the big picture, and make sure that consumer experience lives up to our standard of quality and excellence as well as create a new future for the business.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop direct to consumer sales strategy. 
  • Lead the project cross functional team to develop and launch the direct to consumer platform. 
  • Clearly understand and communicate target customer needs, value propositions and desired experiences for the platform. 
  • Utilize and lead agile software development projects. 
  • Develop, maintain and execute 5 year strategy regarding direct to consumer sales model and platform. 
  • Develop and execute on a high growth revenue plan.
  • Understand competitive environment and develop necessary plans to be an industry leader. 
  • Work closely with customer marketing across retail, OEM and professional Trade to maximize Honeywell operating profit. 
  • Product launch—help coordinate all of the cross functional teams to make sure that each D2C platform you build enters the world with the momentum necessary for long-term success. 
Basic Requirements: 
  • Bachelors Degree 
  • 6 + years of experience in direct to consumer marketing and sales
  • 2 + years of experience in leading direct to consumer platforms and teams
Preferred Requirements:
  • History of innovation and proven ability to deliver on business commitments
  • Experience e-Commerce
  • Decisive, action-oriented attitude; able and willing to own open issues and drive resolution
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills; ability to motivate cross-functional teams and work closely with executive-level leaders
  • Passion for excellence
  • MBA
