Our client is seeking a Marketing Analyst I to manage the verification and accuracy of product data across a broad array of dental merchandising products, for building promotional structures, and helping guide and lead database maintenance. As a database team member, the Data Analyst I will be responsible for creating data models, optimizing data for search and building and enriching product data. They will co-lead data driven projects with expectation of advancement into full management of projects/areas of expertise.
Major Duties:
• Develop, map and refine data models for complex product lines
• Research products and analyze product specification data for thousands of items
• Pinpoint terminology, attributes and categorization structures critical to product definition and retrieval in search
• Lead and manage taxonomy and search schemas and creation taxonomy refinement
• Make independent decisions that affect the function and performance for Company-wide shared database system, as well as troubleshoot issues that arise
• Lead complex projects while collaborating with management on key functional areas
• Build and verify accuracy of printed promotion data
• Work on Oracle Content Management system (Stibo)
Must Haves Include:
• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 1-3 years of proven database experience
• Advanced skillset in Excel, Access and other data applications
• Proven background in Internet research and data modeling
• Solid understanding of accurate writing for utilization in development of Search Engine Optimized copy for web-based environments
• Experience analyzing marketing assets to effectively merchandise products on an e-commerce platform
• Team player, with the demonstrated diplomacy to assist other departments as necessary
• Proven leadership and business judgment
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Outstanding customer service ethic
• Experience with dental products a plus
• Keen attention to detail and focus
• Strong spelling, grammar, editing, proofing and communication skills are a must
• Ability to manage internal workflow process to ensure seamless and timely implementation of projects with ability to multitask and seamlessly navigate multiple priorities at once
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Desire to learn and perfect processes
• Experience with B2B and/or healthcare experience a plus
