Key Responsibilities:
The Content Writer is responsible for the researching, writing, gathering, organizing and editing of promotional information for publication in print and web. This position keeps content on our clients’ marketing and external and internal websites up-to-date, relevant and of interest to target audiences, interactive and aligned with marketing and communication strategies. This position will be the driver in the marketing department that produces the written content for all external marketing campaigns and communications, as well as internal employee engagement communications. The Writer will interview subject matter experts within the organization that can be used to create the marketing collateral and thought leadership pieces and develop a planning schedule/calendar across mediums and team members to ensure use of compelling content in a way that engages the end audience (B2B or B2C).
Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English or similar
- 3+ years of experience in the development of content for print and web within a marketing or communications department preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong editing and proofing skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practices for writing for print and interactive mediums
