Position Summary: The Marketing Development Manager is responsible for the market segmentation, competitive and pricing analysis, new product development and commercialization efforts of the division. In addition, this position assists the Marketing Manager/General Manager with the development and implementation of a comprehensive marketing plan including market coverage, channel strategy, communications, sales planning, new product development and pricing.
Qualifications:
- 4 year college degree, MBA preferred.
- Minimum 2 years field sales followed by 2 years Product Sales Management experience preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Project software products.
- Familiarity with relational database and reporting software products (e.g. DB2, SQL, Web Focus, Reporting Services) preferred.
- Familiarity with Internet market research routines and research database assets.
- Understanding of SIC and NAICS codes and definitions.
