Search Expert

Minneapolis-based top-20-ranked Advertising Agency is seeking a search specialist with a passion for SEO and SEM. Our next rock star should have at least 2–3 years experience implementing and managing both organic and paid search campaigns, performance tracking and reporting.

Job duties:
  • Keyword research and analysis
  • Client Search Engine ranking analysis and reporting
  • Monitoring and managing daily progress of search campaign details including implementation, copywriting, budgets and reporting 
  • Closely monitor campaigns and work with internal teams to ensure client goals are met
  • Trend analysis and Web Analytics interpretation to make appropriate campaign strategy adjustments 
  • Research opportunities with regards to new technologies or vendors
  • Contribute to team efforts to maintain in-depth knowledge of industry current events and trends 
  • 2–3+ years SEO experience 
  • 2-3+ years SEM experience 
  • Strong link building experience and knowledge 
  • Moderate to advanced knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking strategies
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and Web design as it relates to SEO and tracking
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and competitive, yet fun environment while managing competing priorities and meeting strict deadlines 
  • Sense of humor (for real)
