Interactive Designer

Sport Ngin is looking for an innovative interactive designer to join our creative department! The successful candidate will thrive in an open, relaxed, creative atmosphere with an extremely talented team in a fantastic NE Minneapolis loft-style office space (13 foot ceilings, hardwood floors, brick and timber finish and tons of windows).

As a member of the design team at Sport Ngin, you will handle the following:

• Conceptualization and design of branding and collateral 
• Creation of stunning graphics for sports team, league, club and organization websites 
• Conversion of design concepts to standards based HTML and CSS markup 
• Execution of web design projects from concept to completion 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in the digital industry as a designer 
• Ability to create interactive experiences using JavaScript/jQuery without the help of existing plugins 
• Experience working with Sass/Less is a plus 
• Creative and detailed orientated, with excellent design sense 
• Highly proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and other standard graphics applications 
• Extensive fluency and experience with HTML and CSS 
• Passionate about current sports and athletic graphic design trends  
• Exceptional understanding of typography and design hierarchy  
• Excellent communications skills including the ability to present concepts and designs 
•  Experience working with CMS platforms a plus (Expression Engine, Joomla, Drupal, etc.)
