Contract Copyeditor

True Talent Group, the fastest growing marketing, creative and interactive recruitment agency in the Twin Cities, is looking for a seasoned copyeditor for an ongoing long-term contract position which may be temp to hire, at our client in Mendota Heights.

Key Responsibilities: In this fast paced role you will be responsible for editing and proofreading content from a team of writers, project managers and clients. We are looking for someone who has an eagle eye for editing this content. The content is a wide variety of anything from print ads, collateral, online content, sales sheets, newsletters, you name it.

Must Have’s:

• Bachelor’s Degree in English. Journalism, Communications or Similar. 
• Strong knowledge of AP and Chicago styles. 
• Strong "old school" knowledge of English and grammar (this is not a writing position; this is line editing).
• At least three years of successful experience in a copyediting role. 
• Skilled in software especially Microsoft Office—Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Adobe. 
• Love online learning and good with new softwares. 
• Excels in a fast paced environment. 
• Knowledge of the Dental, Vet or Medical (Rehabilitation) industry a plus!
