Responsibilities include:
- identifying requirements
- developing or assisting with information architecture
- understanding dependencies between design and development,
- working with account staff to ensure timely and accurate completion, as well as researching and helping to implement Wordpress and front-end development best practices
- Expert at transforming layered PSD files into standards compliant web templates
- Expert at implementing front-end code as WordPress themes
- Expert at diagnosing and remediating browser compatibility issues
- Expert at responsive and adaptive development techniques
- Proficient with front-end frameworks, primarily Twitter
- Proficient with MVC development, preferably knockout.js but related experience acceptable
- Demonstrable experience developing public-facing sites
- Experience with front end code preprocessing, precompiling, minification tools and techniques
- Experience providing technical review of creative concepts, identifying and providing guidance when elements of design do not meet requirements
- Experience with client communication, such as requirements gathering, technical consulting, and end user training and support
- Experience creating developer documentation and end user training materials
- Knowledge of SEO development best practices including high value HTML elements, metadata, schema markup, HTTP status codes
- Ability to work independently and with small to midsize teams
- Experience using Git or Mercurial for version control
- Experience integrating applications with web services using RESTful APIs
- Experience creating and modifying Facebook pages and apps
- Experience with .NET development including web forms, MVC, and SQL Server
- Experience with DotNetNuke, Drupal, or other open source CMS Experience developing to Section 508 or WCAG accessibility guidelines
- Experience implementing Google Webmaster Tools, Analytics, Adwords, and remarketing tags LAMP system administration
