Content Marketing Specialist

Do you possess strong writing and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple high-priority projects simultaneously? The Content Marketing Specialist with Digital River will work cross-functionally throughout all business units to develop product-focused marketing communications materials. The successful candidate must possess strong creativity and employ clear and concise language to effectively engage target audiences on varied topics. Working closely with the product management, sales and marketing teams, the role will track closely to Digital River’s product launch process, ensuring key content is communicated both internally and externally and updated in line with product roadmaps.

What You'll Accomplish:

  • Develop varied, engaging, interactive and effective content for sales support, web, video and event-based marketing activities for a variety of audiences. 
  • Write content for external, non-technical communications for product marketing and sales enablement: PowerPoint presentations, customer case studies, product sell sheets, web content, video scripts, infographics, emails, etc. 
  • Ensure alignment of deliverables to expected project/program objectives and track performance metrics. 
  • Manage project team to ensure your deliverables are completed with high-quality results, within budget and on time.
What You'll Need:

  • B.A. in marketing, communications or a related field. 
  • 2–5 years of professional marketing content development experience. 
  • Marketing savvy, proficient in developing creative content that will resonate with the audience with a focus on sales conversion. 
  • Ability to craft audience-tailored messaging to support sales and advertising efforts. 
  • Advanced writing skills with superb punctuation, grammar and vocabulary. 
  • Experience executing content strategies for integrated campaigns and sales enablement. 
  • Must be able to collaborate across multiple departments and work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, customers, partners, vendors and agencies. 
  • Efficient, organized and have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently, often with ambiguity, and lead a project without heavy supervision. 
  • Superb proofreading skills with a critical eye for detail and high expectations for deliverables. 
  • Strong project management and time management skills. 
  • Video production, including script writing, and editing experience a plus. 
  • Social media content strategy and execution experience a plus.
